The Damnbusters as they are today was the brainchild of Andy (sax) back in 2009 when an advert was placed for like minded musicians to bring the fun back to the live scene.
 "Far too many unsigned bands take themselves too seriously."

After many auditions, tearing out of hair and upsets, the current line-up was forged.

• Ian – Lead Vocals, guitar, smart suits.
• Andy – Sax, Silly dancing, hats n boots.
• Phil – Guitar, backing vocal, harmonica, hiding in the dark.
• Paul – Bass, backing vocals, looking fierce.
• Lorna - Keyboards, being the only girl.
• Stoo – Drums, Percussion, buying the beer.

A full set of songs was soon established and the band is now actively gigging, bringing the energy and passion of ska back home to the midlands.
